The Hideout - Chiang Mai, Thailand

Down a small, quiet soi, under a large bodhi tree at the northeast corner of the moat in Chiang Mai, Thailand, The Hideout earns its name. It’s in a great location, especially for the traveler wanting a break from the noisy city without having to venture too far. Once you discover this narrow coffeehouse with incredible sandwiches you’ll be happy. It’s cozy, but despite it’s limited seating when busy, the experience is intimate with wonderful and friendly service. They have a great selection of mouthwatering sandwiches that come with cute bow tied bamboo picks served on a banana leaf. These sandwiches are excellently paired with any of their delicious coffee drinks or if you’re in the mood for something sweet they have real fruit shakes. What’s great to see is that The Hideout also helps provide for their community by using 100% Arabica coffee beans grown and hand picked in Chiang Mai and neighboring town Chiang Rai, supporting Thailand’s local coffee industry. This is certainly a place you won’t want to miss if you’re in Chiang Mai!
